Show Piece
For my degree show I made a large-scale version of one of the sections from my Red Riding Hood book. I hand cut and carved the 4 pages and hung them to create the 3D effect in my show space in Kingston University - the show is open until friday.

I've got a website!
I have finally built myself a proper shiny website, still a work in progress but please have a look :)
Also, if you're around Kingston Upon Thames this week the Illustration & Animation Degree show is still open 1 - 7pm at Kingston University Knights Park campus until friday, well worth a visit.

More off-cuts
Currently working full pelt on preparations for the degree show, getting my Little Red Riding Hood book up to scratch, so haven't posted anything for a while, but have got a lot of these cut-offs scattered on my floor..

Puffin cover design
Well, here's my entry for the Puffin cover design prize. Deadline for entries: Friday 5pm. Emi Hazlett's entry: Friday 4.58pm. Oh, so many ways I would improve it if I had the time.. but I do like how juicy the pit looks.
James and the Giant Peach characters I made for my initial idea coming soon!

Bugs
I'm currently working on my entry to the Puffin award front cover design for James and the Giant Peach. I've been cutting out me bugs out of this one sheet of paper and just thought it looked quite cool, a kind of anatomical insect grid. Lots of spider's legs. Will put the final design up when the entries have closed.
